Trevor: It’s hard to write a blog when you have so many opinions.

Jack: It’s hard to write a blog people might actually care about.

T: It’s hard to write a blog people care about when you play a sport nobody but us cares about.

J: So how could we make people care about Ultimate?

T: It may come as a surprise to you, but not everyone knows we actually have a team … that actually plays in tournaments.  People knowing we exist could help.

J: Really?  I’m totally shocked.  I just assumed we were right up there in popularity with basketball.

T: We are …

J: Haha, not quite.

T: So maybe if people got to know us, they’d care?

J: I don’t know about that. The guy I’ve lived with for two years still makes fun of me for playing. He tried out last year, but decided he was too cool. He might be right, but we could try.

T: How do you encapsulate in words the greatness that is the Ultimate Frisbee team?

J: Well it is called “Ultimate” right? “Raging Disc Throw” was considered, but it doesn’t quite roll off the tongue.

T: So how should we describe ourselves?

J: Ideally as Loyola’s sexiest organization other than the Ceramics Club, obviously, but I’m not sure we can come out and say that.

T: Well we’re a hard-working team but lets face it, being on the Ultimate team is like being the Secretary of Agriculture — sure you work hard, but does anyone really care?

J: Well, for now I guess we’ll just have to settle on being Loyola’s most popular team playing a disc-oriented sport.

T: Does the track team’s discus event count?

J: … Second most popular.
