The Chicago Shooting Report is a weekly list of shootings around the Chicago area compiled by The PHOENIX.
There are two important things to keep in mind. First, this list is not necessarily complete; some shootings may not have been reported or picked up by the media. Second, there will occasionally be overlap between weekly reports due to delays in reporting shootings. For example, the first two incidents in this week’s report occurred on March 21 but were not reported until late March 22.
There are three colored balloons on the map below. Red balloons indicate fatal shootings while yellow balloons indicate non-fatal shootings. To provide context for locations, the blue balloons represent Loyola’s two campuses, Lake Shore and Water Tower.
