Four players collected event titles in Milwaukee at the UWM Double Duels. Not a bad way to prepare for the Horizon League Championships in Michigan this weekend. No worries there, I’m sure.
Down to women's basketball
So-so just isn’t your style ladies. Back to .500 with only three games left, including two against the pesky Indiana teams that were trouble early in the season. Let’s end it all on a high note.
And this week’s shout-out goes to The Phoenix.
This past weekend the Phoenix raked in the certificates and plaques at the Illinois College Press Association awards banquet. Eighteen total awards including five for the Phoenix Sports section. Bam.
