On Thursday, power went out in a several buildings on the Lake Shore campus for an about an hour.
A power cable that runs behind the Simpson Living and Learning Center failed at about 11:30 a.m., according to Phil Kosiba, Vice President for Facilities.
The outage affected Simpson, Damen Hall, the Mundelein Center, Cudahy Science, Dumbach Hall, Madonna della Strada, Ignatius House, and Rockhurst, Xavier, Holy Cross, and Fordham Halls.
Power was restored a few mintues before 12:30 p.m.
